Frequently Asked Questions
Your Questions, Answered
What should I wear to my appointment
We suggest you wear or bring comfortable loose fitting clothing for the massage. As this will allow easy access to the injured or painful areas to provide the treatment comfortably.
What should I expect from my first session?
You will be asked to complete a brief history form upon your first visit. A discussion of your history, current issues and desire outcomes will be had with your therapist and a treatment plan will be agreed upon.Â
Your therapist will leave the room to prepare for your massage, and you will be instructed to remove your clothing as necessary and get on the massage table under a towel. Your modesty will be protected at all times. As your therapist works, they will uncover body parts to be massaged, never working any private areas.
Do you offer HICAPS on the spot claiming of health rebates?
Yes, we offer HICAPS on the spot claiming and EFTPOS facilities at both locations.
To claim on the spot health rebates, you must present your health insurance card at the time of payment. If you are unable to claim on the spot an invoice can be issued to allow for manual claim through your private health provider.
Will IÂ be sore afterwards?
This is a question we get asked all the time and it is very dependent on the a few factors : the injury you have, your personal pain threshold and also whether or not you have had treatment before.
Ultimately we never want to to leave in more pain than what you came in with, so we communicate with you to find the best pressure while still achieve beneficial results.
